liking her for me

liking her for me

i've been thinking. people our age, we're always liking people/getting into relationships. but is there really a need to? lets analyse this logically and systematically.

what are the advantages of getting attached?
- to feel wanted. to know for a fact that someone desires you. its good for the ego.
- to feel needed. its also good for the ego.
- to boast. like look i haf a bf/gf. coolness is me.
- emotional comfort. being attached gives someone that sense of comfort, the sense that theres ssomeone to fall back on.
- physical needs. not sex, but physical intimacy. we're genetically engineered for it.

what are the disadvantages of being attached?
- distraction. one loses sight of own priorities. slowly.
- isolation. to diff extents, but essentially you are creatin a world of your own.
- restriction. theres alot of things you cant do when you're attached. or at least you will set some boundaries on yourself. wheres the fun in that?
- break up. its inevitable. can you deal with it?

so is being attached a good or bad thing? my conclusion is that as long as you dont let it get to far, it wont hurt you too bad. yes it'll hurt, but the pain is necessary. we will all experience the pains of "love" sooner or later. so why not sooner? as long as you dont take the relationship too far (we are only 15-16 after all), then why not? the experience should be good.

however, there is a problem. the problem is finding that person. a person who you like, and likes you back. liking people isnt hard. finding people who like you isnt that hard. finding someone who likes you and you can like back or vice versa is the diffucult part.

but hey. dats what we live for isnt it? answers, conclusions and ultimately, problems.

be careful what you wish for...
